Recently I ordered the new book Cash In A Flash – Fast Money in Slow Times on a website Mark Victor Hansen and Robert G. Allen were using to launch their book.
Now this isn’t a pout post or any whining, or complaining, or an attack at all. I hold no grudges or any of that crap with the Authors. This also isn’t a link bait post either.
This is just a quick lesson in how not to _ _ _ _ up one simple little thing, actually three things…
1st – I order this new book from a website that was set up where you could buy the book for $9.95 and you would get a dvd of their Cash In A Flash Seminar people paid $5,000 grand to go to and “lots” of other stuff. Now, I can’t really say if those people got there moneys worth or not, because I couldn’t actually sit down to watch all the hoopla on their DVD, I simply tossed it in the trash.
Did they really provide some value… maybe…? you have to wade through hours of video to find out!
2nd – I ordered this book at least a month ago. Still don’t have it…
3rd – Just recently I sent an email to their support. Here is roughly what they sent back to me:
Dear Curt:
Books will be shipping out when their ready to fully launch their book so they can sell more books at one time and have a better chance at making the best seller list. We have no idea on a date, but you might get the book sometime in the near future.

Well that officially sucks… Not really, I don’t even care when I get the book. What if I was really waiting to get that book and wanted to read it RIGHT AWAY.
I was mainly just buying through their website to see their marketing process and what they tried to sell to you on the backend. You see, Mike Filsaime sold a product that teaches people on their backend sales to say Customize Your Order, now everyone is doing this with the same exact software.
Can you imagine the customer service issues Mark Victor Hansen and Robert G. Allen caused their support team, I can’t imagine…!
This isn’t obviously a complaint on my part, just a realization.
Heres my point… No matter how big of a name you become in life, even if your outsourcing everything and it looks like everything is cool, just double check and go through the process of ordering yourself.
See what happens, ask yourself questions that come up. Like for instance…
If we plan on launching our book on this website people order from, but we don’t officially plan to ship the books until a month later, maybe just maybe we might want to put that in plain ENGLISH for everyone to read before they click submit on their order or after their order for better conversions.
Oh, by the way. I can’t say if I’ll recommend this book or not, because I DIDN’T GET IT yet!
When I do FINALLY get the book I’ll bet there will be at least one little thing I can use in it.

the backend software and customer support are two separate things
1. the backend sales software I was referring to is just part of the backend process.
2. the customer support is a different piece of software or service.
The main point I was trying to make is that they never alerted me in email or in their monthly website
that you would get the book 45 days or so later. If they did, I didn’t see anything. And that means
other people had the same problem.
I got the book the other day. Finishing up with it right now.
The first part is all about controlling your mind and inner thoughts. I think they did a good job on this first part.
Although most people will probably skip over this and look for the strategies and techniques.
