Create Your Kickass Lifestyle Bucket List

Kickass Lifestyle List

Some people call em Life Lists, a Bucket List, or Things To Do Before You Die. I call it a Kickass Lifestyle list. You don’t just want to have a life list, that’s kinda boring. You want a Life that Kicks Ass, right….

Your Kickass Lifestyle list determines what you want to do in life and also helps define your purpose.

Once you know what you want to do and accomplish in life all you have to do is follow your daily rituals you will put in place.

Tips for Creating Your Kickass Lifestyle Bucket List

  • Write everything down that comes to your mind without worrying how you’ll accomplish it
  • The main things that “might” keep you from doing the things on your list are money, and the time to do them. So guess what, if you want to accomplish everything on your list your gonna have to either make more money or free up more time. Why not do both at the same time.
  • If you don’t have at least 100 items yet, keep creating your list… this is important !
  • After you have at least 100 items on your list start going through your list and figuring out which ones to do first

If you need any help just use the easy button! Make Your Bucket List Easy

  • After you have picked 1 or 2 items to complete on your list go do them or set a deadline for when you’ll go do them. If you find a lot of the things on your list mainly deal with travel, money and time, learn new ways of making money or creating wealth and freeing up more of your time.
  • We all have bad habits and behaviors. Create rituals in your life to set yourself up for success. Setting rituals will make you more productive, more balanced, and free up more of your time. Use that extra time then to learn how to create wealth. The key is setting rituals for every area of your life that will help lead you to doing the things on your list.
  • Go over your list once a week and keep asking, how can I do X…. instead of making excuses.
  • Be willing to step out of your comfort zone. Staying in your comfort zone is a fine way to never accomplish anything in your life. PROGRESS is the one of the biggest things we all want in life. To progress, we usually have to step out of our comfort zone.

Although I don’t currently have kids, I would encourage your kids if you have any to create a Kickass Lifestyle list early on as kids don’t hold anything back and it will help set them up for success later on.

Get Started on Your Bucket ListHere are 13 Questions to Ask Yourself When Creating Your Bucket List

  • If you had a year left to live, what would you do, who would you take with you…?
  • If you won the lottery, where would you go what would you do…?
  • What did you always want to do when you were a child…?
  • If you were on your deathbed, what would you most regret not having done…?
  • If you had an upcoming high school reunion, what would you like to be able to tell your former classmates you’ve accomplished
  • What do you need to have more of in your life
  • Who do you admire and why…?
  • Your sitting with your grandchildren on your lap and telling them about your travels, what stories are you telling them…?
  • You’ve died and are listening to your eulogy, what are your friends and loved ones saying about you.
  • If a Genie granted your 3 wishes, what would you ask for…?
  • What do you want to Be, Do or Have…?
  • Where do you want to go…?
  • Who do you want to spend your time with in your life, negative people or positive people that you like, trust, respect and that make you happy…?

I’m doing all this stuff now, you don’t need a million bucks.

Go do your list now man. Pick 5-10 things to do each year.

Your basically saying you’ll never go do your list unless you have a million bucks
that’s a warped way of thinking about this…

Curt NelsonNo Gravatar November 11, 2011 at 5:10 pm

very cool man

thanks for the suggestions on the bucket list

There are 155 National Forests in the US, pretty crazy. Maybe a week in each would suffice.

I am going to Santa Barbara in May this year to get my P1-P3 Paragliding Rating and will use
a good portion of the summer to get to P4 – I want to launch off 14ers

I haven’t actually been scuba diving… YET… will get to that coming up, I’m aiming at tackling
some stuff on my list as adventure projects and some just spontaneous

Hey!
Awesome Site, I like the 13 questions to ask yourself
1. For your three months of Thai Boxing, check out Lana Camp in Chaing Mai Thialand. Kiat Bussabat)
2. Three months of Jiu Jitsu: I’d do it Rio. With Training I like to also find a nice place to hang out in general. Chiang Mai and Rio are of the nature.
3. Spending 2 weeks in each national Forest in the US, I’d imagine this is not possible as there are way to many?
4. If you are going to explore each state for 2 weeks, I’d take some running theme to do in each state, something for me would be to visit a martial arts school of one of the arts I practice and do a class there.
5. Paragliding: My favourite spots so far, Columbia, New Zealand and Nepal
6. What would you choose for your five best Scuba diving spots? (Scuba diving between tectonic plates in iceland; I’ve added this to my list, thanks
7. Stay up for 48hr. Try this. Stay up for 24hr, keep yourself up, watch movies etc, then go on a 24hour walk! (I’m shooting for a 24 100km walk to do in the next couple of months

Am 30 years old, and have been travelling the world full time for the last five years doing everything on my list. I’ve just about ran out of things and found this site because I’m looking for new ideas….

I have a long list, too–but in the meantime, I have decided to read books about all the places I long to see. My bucket list of places I’ve been in books is getting pretty long…and I’m liking it. (Plus it’s waaayyy cheaper, lol). First in my series of Read Around the World is: http://www.50plusandontherun.com/2011/10/read-around-world.html

In regard to spending a summer in Alaska, I did that in the summer of ‘03. I lived and worked at a fishing lodge that was only reachable by float plane or boat for 4 1/2 months. The owner’s name is Larry. Here’s the website of the lodge if you want to check it out: http://www.alaskasbestlodge.com

Just bloody-well do it! Lists are great but action is where it’s at! Just do it!
By the time you make a trillion you might be stuffed so get a move on and shake that life………….before it snuffs you out. Hurry up all you baby-boomers……….time is waiting to extinguish every single one of us so move it……..whatever you didn’t do, do it now, bigger and better. Don’t say, “IF I had this I could do that!”. Do it now.
Love and blessings too——LK

looks good.. good luck with your adventures.. definitely keep us up to date on it.. check out my blog if you get a chance.. my bucket list is up there

Pat January 6, 2011 at 9:20 pm

This is pretty cool… I’ve been researching for my bucket list, and it’s so hard to get everything down onto paper! You’ve definitely got a lot. I actually got a poster to fill out my bucket list goals onto. I think the site is http://www.bucketlistposters.com (or google it to find it). There are 100 slots to fill on that big poster… so I’ve gotta get going pretty soon. People ask about it all the time when they come over… It’s fun to talk about life goals. Good luck!

Thanks for giving me an idea on how to organize everything though.

Barbara,

Although I haven’t spent an hour 1 on 1 with Kiyosaki, I like his seminars that he personally teaches. I was at the first one on The Dollar Crisis by Richard Duncan. At the seminar I got a couple minutes but would like more.

Love how you organized your ‘kickasslist’! has helped me separate my thoughts, goals, passions etc into areas, and now am getting on a roll with it! love the site, and keep it going….to encourage you…I have spent not quite the 1 hour with Robert K, and even 10 years later am still fired up and achieving things because of a simple down to earth talk. Just Do It!

Annette Renee WhiteNo Gravatar January 2, 2010 at 10:51 am

I have a bucket list too! So far it has 158 goals on it, I am working my way to 1000. My favorites are ‘Milk a Cow’, ‘Ride a Zipline’ and ‘Make a Coloring Book’. You can see my list at http://www.mslistologist.com Good Luck!!

Trevor November 28, 2009 at 6:29 pm

Your organization ideas on how you have your bucket list separated at the beginning of this post helped me in organizing my list.

Thanks
